The Uttarpradesh The government (UP Government) has started a special scheme to help poor family’s girls to get married. It has been named 'Uttar Pradesh Marriage Grant Scheme' (UP Shadi Anudan Yojana). Under this scheme, the help of Rs 51,000 is given to girls worth getting married. To take advantage of the scheme, the girl's age should be 18 years or more. Yes, the boy who is going to get married should be 21 years or older. Under this scheme, 2 girls from a family will be eligible for the grant.

Benefits of Marriage Grant Government Scheme

1.The benefit of this scheme will be provided to the daughters of poor families.
Under the scheme, help is given to girls belonging to Scheduled Castes / Tribes, Minorities, Economically Weaker General Classes, Other Backward Classes.
2.The plan is for the original residents of UP.
3.The income of a family from rural areas should be Rs 46,080 and the annual income of an urban family is Rs 56,460.
4.At the time of marriage of this scheme, the girl's age should be 18 years and the boy's age should be 21 years.
